Control Station introduces PID tuning evaluation program

The program enables participating manufacturers to validate PlantESP’s contribution to improved production performance and bottom-line profitability prior to commercial licensing. PlantESP is a platform technology that actively monitors the performance of PID controllers and the health of production assets. The PlantESP Evaluation Program targets select process manufacturers for participation in a structured, onsite assessment of those capabilities. Engineering resources from Control Station assist participants over a ninety day period with the installation, configuration, and use of PlantESP. The PlantESP platform has expanded significantly since its initial introduction in 2010, and its breadth of capabilities are unique in the market. The platform’s Loop Performance Monitoring module actively evaluates a production facility’s PID controllers, notifying users of performance issues and recommending appropriate corrective actions.
