Industrial Security Circus at HANNOVER MESSE 2024

Safety in industry is crucial to protect employees, facilities and the environment. It minimizes accidents, downtime and financial losses and strengthens a company's reputation. At HANNOVER MESSE, exhibitors at the "Industrial Security Circus" demonstrate how industrial companies can ensure a safe working environment.

There are many German companies, particularly in the machine and plant construction sector, that have highly specialized industry knowledge and decades of research experience. This knowledge must be protected in the interest of industrial security, especially in light of the NIS-2/CER Directive, which is expected to be implemented into national law in the fall of 2024.

To inform exhibitors and visitors at HANNOVER MESSE about the current state of industrial security, Fraunhofer FOKUS developed the “Industrial Security Circus” together with Deutsche Messe AG. The special display in Hall 16 focuses on various aspects of industrial security, from OT and IT security to supply chain security and physical security.

Numerous private and public solution providers exhibit at Industrial Security Circus, including 21unity, Airbus Protect, Blackberry CyberSecurity, the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI), the Fraunhofer Institute IOSB, the International Society of Automation, Stormshield and Secunet. In addition to the exhibition area, a forum features presentations and expert panels as well as best cases and live hacking. Pre-registration is not required.
